The Typhoon Display Team at RAF Coningsby had a special visitor in the cockpit this week, in the form of British Formula 1 star George Russell.
Given his clear need for speed on the track, George, 25, was taken out to the skies for a different kind of adrenaline rush, and it’s safe to say he absolutely loved it!He called it the “experience of a lifetime” to have the chance to fly inside a Typhoon fighter jet, and even posed for some Top Gun-style photos with the pilots.
