A number of road closures are in place
Fears have been raised for the safety of two people after a car became submerged in water in Mossley Hill.
A police cordon is still in place this morning and a number of road closures are still in place. Officers at the scene said they are unaware how long the road closures will last.Chief Inspector Daniel Murphy said: “Our officers remain at the scene as we continue with the early stages of this investigation alongside Merseyside Fire and Rescue Services to establish the circumstances of this incident.
