BREAKING: Fire breaks out near Hilton Hotel and Beetham Tower in Manchester - latest updates
A fire has broken out near one of Manchester's most iconic buildings. Video shows a skip ablaze on at the side of Beetham Tower on Deansgate in the city centre.
Bright orange flames can be seen lapping out of the skip on Trafford Street with smoke being sent billowing out over the area Fire crews are said to be on the scene. There are as yet unconfirmed reports that the Hilton Hotel, which occupies part of the building, has been evacuated.This is a breaking news story and we will be bringing you updates in the live blog below
