Already furious holidaymakers are being told to brace for further misery after an IT fault led to hundreds of flight cancellations and delays.that led to nearly 10% of all flights departing and arriving at airports being delayed.
Among those stranded and at the end of their rope is Katrina Harrison and her family – including one-year-old twin grandchildren.The family spent the night at Leeds Bradford Airport after their flight to Antalya, Turkey, was cancelled on Monday afternoon. Katrina said her family has been left ‘shivering’ inside the airport, unable to book any local hotels and threatening to dash their £12,000 dream holiday.
