'A fall from grace': Former teacher facing ban for sexual Snapchat messages with 15-year-old
A primary school teacher who sent sexual messages to a 15-year-old through Snapchat is facing a ban from the profession.He was a teacher at Sir Francis Hill in Lincoln when the offences took place in May and June 2019, and was later suspended.
Andrew Fitch-Holland, prosecuting, said: “He appeared to have a high Snapchat score which indicated he was a prolific user of the app. That gave her confidence.“The conversation became more sexually explicit and she became concerned when the defendant revealed he was a primary school teacher. “He began drinking most evenings to excess and began numerous online chats with various women. He was feeling rejected and unwanted,” he said.
