The centre will see about £38 million investment
A new Glasgow rubbish recycling centre, which will be the biggest in the country, is due to open in 2026.The new materials recovery facility is to handle plastic containers, bottles, cans, paper and cardboard.A council report said: "Easter Queenslie will be a centre of excellence for waste management and recycling, and sustainability has been a key part of the design."
The council is pouring £20 million into the Easter Queenslie facility and the Scottish Goverrnment is funding £17 million towards the project.
