Anne McKeller was rushed to hospital.
Anne Mckeller was on her way to the local bus stop on September 2 when she says the Pitbull type dog jumped over a fence and began attacking her on Drumry Road East. The 71-year-old, who uses a walking frame due to previously suffering a stroke, suffered lacerations to her arm and elbow.
"It was standing on its back legs and came up to about shoulder height. It was biting at my legs and arms. I was in a state of shock. "I just kept thinking that I had to stay standing and hold onto my walking frame to avoid getting dragged onto the ground where it could bite my face and neck."
