Police are asking for witnesses and dash cam footage
The woman was out walking her dog at about 8pm on Saturday when she was knocked over. She was hit by a grey Audi G2 on Blackburn Old Road, Great Harwood, a short distance from Great Harwood Cricket Club.READ MORE: Smoke engulfs streets in Great Harwood as residents issued warning
Anyone with information, dashcam footage or CCTV is urged to come forward. A spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after a collision left a woman with serious injuries. "The collision happened at around 8pm on Saturday, August 12 on Blackburn Old Road, Great Harwood, a short distance from Great Harwood Cricket Club where a woman, who was walking her dog at the time, was hit by a grey Audi Q2."We believe that the Audi may have collided with another vehicle during this time, and are asking the owner to come forward and contact us."
