Students in Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK will receive results for GCSEs on Thursday, August 24.

When are exam results published on GCSE results day? GCSE results will come out at 8am on Thursday, August 24, with students able to pick up their results in person at their school. If you are unhappy with your grade, you should first talk to your school or college. In Northern Ireland, your school will contact the exam board on your behalf and ask for your marks to be reviewed.

An appeal must come from your school’s Examinations Officer, as they are best informed to arrange an appeal on behalf of their students. This is normal practice for all awarding organisations.Your grade could go up, go down, or stay the same following an appeal.
