TRICK-OR-TREATERS are ­facing a Halloween shock this year — healthy snacks such as carrot sticks instead of sugary sweets.

Sugar-free sweets head the list of healthier options, three in ten householders planning to give them to young callers. Making up the rest of the list are fruit chips, bananas, oat flapjacks, vegetable crisps, dried mango, other fresh fruit and assorted dried fruit.
