George Spence's victim will now have to be on medication for the rest of his life
A hammer-wielding thug chased his victim into a restaurant to attack him over claims his son had earlier been threatened.
Spence was captured on CCTV carrying out the crime which left the 24 year-old badly hurt with his injuries including fractured ribs and a punctured lung.
