The King's official residence went into lockdown yesterday as police detained the man - who was allegedly armed with a knife and shotgun cartridges
A "knifeman armed with bullets" has been captured at Buckingham Palace declaring he will "I'll kill the King".
There also appeared to be a photo of a small child and a book, The Happiness Advantage - which is all about using positive psychology to “enhance individual achievement”. Police cordons were put in place around the area after the man was also found to be in possession of a knife and a suspicious bag.
Another said: “He was in his 30s. He’s been here the last few nights shouting, ‘I’m going to kill the King! As soon as he placed the bag on the ground the police jumped on him. They were shouting at him, ‘Get down on the floor!’A neighbour of the suspect said: “I would see him walking his dogs and wouldn’t have a bad word to say about him. If he’s gone there with intent, that’s really shocking.”
Dozens of undercover officers will mingle with the crowds as the King and Queen Consort make their way to and from Buckingham Palace, while state-of-the-art drone jamming technology will be deployed during the Coronation procession.
