Plan ahead and don't be caught out
With the Easter holidays over, the roads in and around Lancashire should return to normal traffic levels.
Its also a week which has less major roadworks planned compared to recent months, meaning motorists will hopefully be able to avoid frequent delays. Works are planned on Lancashire locations including the M6, M61 and M55 this month but much of it involves overnight operations on a limited number of lanes.
This means those projects aren't expected to cause any delays to those using the roads. However, there are some projects will will have an impact. As such, drivers are warned to plan their journeys carefully to avoid being caught out.The latest up-to-date information has been provided by National Highways and we have complied a list of some of the works most likely to affect journeys this week.
