It is always a big issue
A concerned Nottinghamshire Live reader has voiced fears about people getting too close to deer at Wollaton Park. Dennis Ashcroft has penned us the letter below outlining his concerns.
Recently I witnessed a group consisting of an adult male and female accompanied by three young children one of which was in a pushchair left unattended a few yards away from the others, approaching a small group of deer. The two young children appeared to be getting encouragement from the adults and were jumping up and down as they approached.
Please if you come across a lone baby deer leave it alone. Do not approach move or touch it. Retreat to a safe place and observe. If it is not injured trapped and/or in any other way in danger leave well alone and just report the facts. 'New e-bikes are awesome but a few changes needed' I think the e-bikes are a great addition to this city. However they do need a few adjustments to make them more safe and useful.
One thing I do find a little weird is how people think that riders are the ones who dump them in random areas or throw them on the ground. You can't end the ride until you are at a designated parking area and you have to take a picture of your bike to prove that you have parked it correctly.
