Neighbours have shared why they love living in their "picturesque" village where everyone is really "friendly." Farnsfield is a small village near Southwell full of dozens of homes and plenty of businesses.
Daria feels that "everyone is really friendly" in the village. Speaking about the only thing that could be improved, she added: "The bus service is a real pain and although we have a lot of bus stops, there's not many buses. Whilst he described the village as "all fine" he added that the buses are an issue. He said: "I get them quite a bit but I go in the car a lot because they are not reliable.
"It has a good cricket club and it has a good bowels club." She added that her daughter went to the village school and "loved it" and "it had small classes." Some of the businesses have been standing for decades, with the bakery currently being a fourth generation family run business. James Atherley, owner of Atherleys The Bakery, said: "It's been here since 1936.
"My grandparents lived in the village and worked here and my mum and dad did too, so it's just normal for me. It's a fourth generation business. "
