Alexis Mac Allister's fourth booking of the season in Liverpool's win over Nottingham Forest puts him at risk of a one-match ban. He needs to avoid another yellow card in the next nine matches to avoid suspension for the Reds' game against Man City on November 25.
Alexis Mac Allister has handed Liverpool a potential disciplinary headache after picking up a booking in the Reds’ 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Having already been booked against Chelsea, Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur, the 24-year-old is now one yellow card away from an automatic one-match ban. Liverpool’s clash with Forest was their 10th game of the season, which means Mac Allister has to navigate a further nine matches without picking up a yellow card if he is to avoid a suspension during the first half of the season.
Liverpool travel to Luton Town next weekend before hosting Brentford on November 12. A booking against the Hatters would see Mac Allister miss the clash with the Bees, but should he instead receive his fifth caution against the latter, he will be forced to sit out the Reds’ trip to Man City.
