The UK's shortest-serving prime minister has been giving speeches around the world about the importance of democracy in the face of increasing Chinese power, with Taiwan next on her list.
Liz Truss will visit Taiwan next week to give a speech about democracy in the face of"increasingly aggressive behaviour from China".
Ms Truss, who was also foreign secretary under Boris Johnson, has been giving speeches around the world with a focus on standing up to China since she resigned as prime minister last October after just 44 days."I'm looking forward to showing solidarity with the Taiwanese people in person in the face of increasingly aggressive behaviour and rhetoric from the regime in Beijing."
