The PM is lucky. He got to No 10 after Liz Truss’s calamitous premiership, and the coronation took the edge off the horrific local election results for the Tories. But, how long can he continue to ride his luck?
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and wife Akshata Murty wave flags near Queen Camilla, and King Charles III, as they join in with Lionel Richie’s, ‘All Night Long’, during the Coronation Concert held in the grounds of Windsor Castle to celebrate the coronation. Mr Sunak also danced along to Take That’s ‘Never Forget’
But this may not be the only reason why Mr Sunak had cause to sing his heart out. The coronation, with world leaders in attendance, has allowed him to lead an intensive round of diplomacy in the past few days, supported by Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt.
