Poor little Roddy
A handsome ex-racing greyhound looking for a loving home has been at an animal sanctuary for weeks and has not had a single inquiry.
Five-year-old Roddy came to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Ramsbottom after he retired, is extremely affectionate and walks nicely on a lead but does have to be muzzled. Sanctuary Manager, Karen Weed, said: “Roddy is a nice-natured dog who is good with similar-sized dogs. “We get a number of ex-racing greyhounds like Roddy and people think they need a lot of exercise but they do tend to be couch potatoes.“We do our best to find them the perfect home as they have usually had a tougher life at times. They do make the most wonderful loving pets.”https://www.bleakholt.org/lancashire-animal.../adopt-a-dog/
