Tillman is keeping a close eye on his former skipper after his stunning free-kick against Hearts made it 111 goals in light blue.
Malik Tillman is still keeping an eye on things at Rangers if his social media activity is anything to go by - as he popped up on Instagram to give James Tavernier a new nickname.
Tillman was the SPFL's Young Player of the Year last term and one of the bright spots in an otherwise forgettable season at Ibrox. Many fans would have kept him around for another season but Rangers didn't trigger their option to buy and he returned to Bayern Munich before joining PSV Eindhoven on loan.
He's done well since then with four goals and three assists despite limited starts for a PSV team who are yet to drop a single point in the Eredivisie. But it seems he still keeps across things at his old club in Glasgow as James Tavernier's stunning free-kick against Hearts caught his eye. The right-back opened the scoring with a penalty before his curled effort from the edge of the box capped off the Viaplay Cup win and he's now on 111 goals for the Ibrox club....
And that's something not lost on Tillman as he crowned him 'Mr Set Pieces' in a reply to his former captain on Instagram. He replied to a reel showing the goal and was full of love for the man who averages more than a goal every four games from right-back.
