A 39-year-old man was found seriously injured on Langbar Crescent in the city's Barlanark area at around 12.15am on Tuesday, May 9.It is understood the man was Siphamandla Libalele who was originally from South Africa.She said:"He loved making us laugh and made sure we were in good spirits."He loved having a good time and cared so much about his friends.
"I could say so much about him, he never liked conflict and was always trying to keep the peace in tense situations. "He was doing everything to try and help his unemployed brothers and would send most of his money home to us. We are in indescribable pain after losing my sonA GoFundMe has also been launched to raise money to repatriate Mr Libalele's body so he can be laid to rest in Umatata, South Africa.It is understood he appeared in court earlier this month.spokesperson said:"A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Glasgow.
"The 39-year-old was found seriously injured on Langbar Crescent in Glasgow around 12.15am on Tuesday, May 9, 2023."The 21-year-old was due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 5 June.
