A man has been arrested
Cops launched an investigation after the Scottish Football Association said it had “referred a significant volume of threatening and abusive emails” to them after the “personal and professional contact details” of referee Kevin Clancy were published online.
Clancy reportedly received multiple threats and messages of abuse following the match on April 8, in which Celtic beatNow the force has revealed that a 25-year-old man is due to appear in court in connection.said on Tuesday: “A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with threatening communications which were reported by the SFA on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
