A 47-year-old man is due to make an appearance in court today.
Police have charged a man in connection with the death of Alastair Campbell in Renfrew on Monday morning.
A 47-year-old male was yesterday taken into custody following enquiries into the death of the 52-year-old and he is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today. Alastair was found with serious injuries in a close of flats on Renfield Street around 3am on Monday, October 30.A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed an arrest had been made, adding: “A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of 52-year-old Alastair Campbell in Renfrew.Don't miss the latest Renfrewshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter here
