Lancashire Police are appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the event
The incident took place on Saturday, July 12 and police are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen something. Three men are said to have approached the victim on Torrisholme Road.
They then assaulted and robbed him on Noel Road, at the junction with Clare Road, at around 10pm. The men made threats with a knife before making off with the victim's wallet. The robbery happened at the junction of Noel Road and Clare Road in Lancaster at around 10pm.
"Three men have approached the victim on Torrisholme Road, before assaulting him and making threats with a knife on Noel Road, leaving him with an injury to the face. They made off with his wallet, though it contained no cash and was located a short time later.
