We're still enjoying Christmas!
Morrisons have caused a frenzy among their customers after stocking their shelves with Easter eggs on Boxing Day.
Easter Sunday in 2023 lands on April 9, some 103 days away, but Morrisons obviously wanted to get a head start on their rivals by displaying their chocolate treats on their shelves already. Writing on Twitter, one customer shared a photo of a Terry's chocolate orange and wrote: "Don't worry folks! To make sure you don't miss the next big event, shops have started stocking easter treats and goodies.A second person, with a photo of an shelf full of Easter treats, said: "There you go people, Morrisons selling Easter eggs on boxing day."
The criticism was not limited to only Morrisons as fellow retailers Co-op and Tesco were also guilty of lining their stores with Easter goodies.
