'I have five kids and work hard night shifts to pay for my stuff. Now I've lost £104' 😡
A mum-of-five has been left fuming after she was told her children's Christmas presents she ordered weeks ago had been 'lost'.
Talking to LancsLive, Becky from the Fylde Coast, said: "I have five kids and work hard night shifts to pay for my stuff. Now I've lost £104 worth of things, it's so frustrating." Becky has also contacted the company she initially bought the presents from, but has so far reached no conclusion. The presents were bought from a shopping business on Facebook, who sent Becky proof of postage showing their chosen courier as Evri. Becky says the company has told her it needs to process the dispute with Evri before returning funds to the Lancashire mum.
The news of Becky's 'lost' parcel comes only weeks after Evri was named the worst parcel company for the second year running. In the annual parcel league table by Citizen's Advice, the company formally known as Hermes, finished bottom of the table for a second year, despite an overall improvement - earning just 1.75 stars out of a possible five.
