It may be the international break for Premier League players, but that doesn’t mean it is time to relax for Nottingham Forest starlet Murillo.
And the Forest boss revealed after the 0-0 draw in the capital that he had more work planned for the youngsters while his team-mates are away on international duty, despite being impressed with his efforts so far in the Garibaldi Red. Cooper told Sky Sports: “We know he's a talent, but I just wanted to take a little bit of time before I put him in the team and I wanted it to be at home, which was last week.
“Like I said, his attitude is really good, he commits every day to training and is really engaged in the learning that we do off the pitch as well. And he's had a good start. He doesn't go away on international duty, so that means we can carry on working with him and build on what he’s shown here tonight.”
Cooper added: “Obviously, he's playing at the back, but you see him being a real asset going forward as well, which is what we want. He's ended up having probably the chance of the game on the back of something that was unbelievable, going on a dribble and, eight or nine yards out, have just the goalkeeper in front of him.
