A giant new 285m skyscraper, which would become one of the largest in the UK, could be built in the City of London.The £600m project in the Square Mile would be used by office workers but would have areas open to the public.The City of London Corporation's planning committee would then decide if the project goes ahead.
The tower will feature 800,000 sq ft of work space and areas at the top and bottom for the public to visit for free. "The proposals also include an extensive bicycle park with best-in-class end-of-trip service facilities, encouraging active lifestyles and fitness.
