Nico Rosberg wants Ferrari to start raiding other F1 teams for the best talent.
After a disappointing Hungarian GP, Nico Rosberg says the time has come for Fred Vasseur to raid rival teams for their top talent as that’s the only way to “really move Ferrari forward”.
While Lando Norris has featured on the podium at the last two races, P2 at the British Grand Prix and again in Hungary, Lewis Hamilton was P3 at Silverstone and missed out on a second successive podium by less than two seconds in Budapest having started the race from pole position.As for Ferrari, Carlos Sainz didn’t make it out of Q2 on Saturday while the team-mates were seventh and eighth in the grand prix with Charles Leclerc ahead.
It has Rosberg suggesting it’s time for Ferrari to seek expertise from rival teams, much in the same way Aston Martin brought in Dan Fallows from Red Bull and immediately shot up the timesheets.
