A man from Nottinghamshire has died after being hit by a car near a farm in Ingoldmells, Lincolnshire. Police were called to a collision involving a blue Mercedes and a pedestrian at 12.28pm on Saturday, August 12, in the seaside village.
The man, in his 60s, was crossing Anchor Lane near Hardy’s Animal Farm. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Lincolnshire Police said his family is being supported by specially-trained officers.
