, and seems to remain strong. People are choosing to move to the UK, and seem likely to drive up the population of the country for the next 30 years at least.
It is not an ideal time because prices are softening and borrowing costs may well rise further. But it is not a dreadful time, because more properties are coming onto the market, which increases the odds of finding something that ticks the boxes. This is not a market where you can hope to flip a quick profit, but it is one to secure a home to live in for five or more years. True, property may come down a bit in price but in money terms that won’t happen for long.
