A nurse from Lancashire has been struck off after she had a sexual relationship with a patient. The relationship began when the pair took a walk in a field, a tribunal heard.

In 2019, she made a self-referral, stating she had a brief sexual relationship with "an unnamed client" in 2011.
He told the panel that it had commenced after Miss Fisher drove the patient home from a hospital appointment, taking him near her home. They had gone for a walk in a nearby field and lay next to each other on the grass - this was when the relationship started.
