Olivia's family campaigned for the law change after child-killer Thomas Cashman refused to appear at his sentencing
People have warned plans to give judges the power to order serious offenders to attend their sentencings could prove harder to implement in practice.

And not only in her name, it’s for every other family out there that has gone through it. We just hope it gets changed so no-one else has to go through it."
The Ministry of Justice said judges would have discretion over whether it is "in the interests of justice" to order an offender to attend court.
