Twenty-nine people died in August 1998 in the single biggest atrocity of the Northern Ireland Troubles.

Donna Marie McGillion, who was severely injured in the explosion alongside her husband Gary, said the milestone anniversary also reflected survivors' struggles. Northern Ireland Office minister Jonathan Caine, who represented the British government, said it was to important to reflect on an "absolutely appalling, hideous" attack.
