Jacob WhiteheadLiverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been diagnosed with a “serious” hamstring injury after the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.
He suffered the injury against Crystal Palace in Singapore on July 15, dropping to the turf three minutes before the break and immediately signaling to the bench that he needed to be replaced. Asked about the fitness of Oxlade-Chamberlain and goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher, Klopp replied: “Caoimh felt something after the international game and everybody, the medical department there, told him it’s fine and will be good after holiday.
