The area on Caledonia street remains blocked off this afternoon (Friday, July 14) with forensics and a blue police tent in place at the scene.
The street has been taped off in all directions with no pedestrians or vehicles able to access the area.Paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service are also in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Friday, 14 July, 2023, officers were called to a report of a serious assault on Caledonia Street, Paisley.“Officers are in attendance and some road closures are in place while enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
