There are concerns for Anya Wahab's welfare
Police have issued an urgent appeal to help trace a missing teenager believed to have travelled to Manchester.
Anya Wahab, 13, is missing from her home in Knottingley, according to West Yorkshire Police. The force say they have 'concerns for her welfare' and are asking the public for any information on her whereabouts. Officers say Anya is believed to have travelled to Manchester. She is described as being about 5ft 3ins tall and of slim build.It is not known what clothing she is wearing, but she does have a tongue piercing.
Anyone who can assist is asked to contact police in Wakefield on 101, or by using the livechat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website. The log reference is 0633 of 24 August.
