Smashed-up car abandoned after Samlesbury crash
A smashed-up car was abandoned at the side of a Lancashire road after it appears to have crashed. by persons unknown.
Police say that those who were in the vehicle fled. The car has now been recovered by police for forensics to ascertain its ownership. Lancs Road Police said: "Vehicle involved in RTC on Preston New Road in Samlesbury. Occupant/s fled so vehicle recovered for forensic exam. Road closed for short period to drag it out.
