Avanti West Coast has urged travellers to check in advance
A train operator has issued a warning to passengers to check services before they travel over planned rail strikes on Saturday.
The first train of the day is set to depart from Euston after 7am, with the last train of the day pencilled in for shortly after 5pm. "Customers with tickets for 29 July can claim a full fee-free refund from their point of purchase. Alternatively, tickets dated 29 July can be used the day before or up to and including 1 August."
