Blackpool residents praise 'perfect' Christmas mural which popped up on mum's front gate
Blackpool residents have praised a 'perfect' Christmas mural, which has popped up on their street after being hand painted by a local mum.
She said: "For this mural, I had to paint over the Queen. Some of the neighbours asked me not to paint over the Queen to leave it there. I think they're quite royalist. So I drew two queen pictures and framed them and gave them to the two neighbours to ease the blow a bit." "I have actually for the first time ever had to use a food bank this year. You know, life is hard and it needed something that was current to kind of make people think. There's people out there with new-born babies like Jesus and Mary and Joseph. And they are wondering, do we eat or do we put the heat on or not."
