Members will no longer be able to collect points in the same way, the supermarket warned.
Sainsbury's shoppers have been reminded that there's a major change coming to Nectar Cards set to come into effect this week.
However, with the Nectar Connect scheme, shoppers were able to link their Nectar account to a debit or credit card, earning more points when spending money at various partners including Vodafone, Nandos and Costa Coffee. But the scheme will be shutting down at 11.59pm on Friday October 27, meaning shoppers won't be able to collect points in this way any more.Top Trending Stories Today It's not known why Nectar is closing this scheme, but the company has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
Latest shopping news Nectar customers can still use their cards to earn points whilst shopping in Sainsbury's and partnered brands but they may find they're not getting as many points as they used to.
