SPECIAL EVENT: Campaigners are aiming to honour Sasha Johnson’s work and provide financial support as she recovers from her injuries
Four men were due to stand trial at the Old Bailey in March last year in connection with the incident but the Crown Prosecution Service announced that the prosecution would not be pursuing the case.Supporters of Johnson and her work are being encouraged to attend and support the event in any way they can.: “Sasha deserves answers for what happened to her on May 23. The pain and scars will never go away but she is determined to rebuild her life to be there for her children.
Johnson won many plaudits for her work in galvanising the Black Lives Matter movement in the UK and highlighting injustices faced by Black Britons.
