The ongoing demolition of the former Royal Mail site on the corner of Bath Street and Brook Street in Nottingham.
Progress continues on the demolition of a former Royal Mail sorting office in Nottingham which is due to be home to student accommodation. The Bendigo Building on the corner of Bath Street and Brook Street, on the city centre's border with Sneinton, stood vacant for 20 years after Royal Mail vacated the premises.
Plans were put forward for a 13-storey block at the site with 692 bed spaces, with the authority seeking to cater for the increasing student population of Nottingham The former offices are under the management of the Bricks Group, which is overseeing the proposed £25 million development.
