England’s Jill Scott has apologised for an iconic clip that went viral of her swearing in the Euro 2022 final, but insists she was sworn at first., often utilised as a late substitute by manager Sarina Wiegman.The 35-year-old box-to-box midfielder was England’s elder statesman, and seen as a calming presence during her cameos, but one in particular was iconicAfter an altercation with Germany’s Sydney Lohmann, the camera directed straight to Scott who blasted her opponent with some abuse.
Scott, though, told talkSPORT she actually hates swearing, and was only responding to her opponent who did it first.
