A luxury Perthshire hotel has received the prestigious Art of Hospitality Award for offering the 'best hospitality in the world' , according to an panel of 580 experts.
An iconic Scottish hotel has been named as having the "best hospitality in the world" after winning a prestigious award.
The historic Gleneagles, which is home to 232 bedrooms, is set in the small and charming town of Auchterarder. Due to the hotel's secluded location, guests rarely leave the resort — with extensive facilities such as three golf courses designed to give visitors plenty to do.View gallery Other unique activities offered by Gleneagles include salmon fishing on the River Tay, horse riding in the Ochil Hills, game shoots, off-road 4x4 driving, falconry, and ferreting.
Managing director of Gleneagles Conor O’Leary commented: "If you would have asked me what award we wanted to win as part of the 50 Best list, it would have been exactly this.
