It is believed the targeted store is a Premier Convenience Store.
Locals say the shop was cordoned off, with officers guarding the entrance and two police vehicles at the scene.An investigation has been launched. A force spokesperson said:"Around 6.40am on Thursday, December 8, police were called to a report of a robbery in Lawmuir Road.
