Jenni Hermoso and her teammates are not backing down as Luis Rubiales said he will not resign after kissing her on the lips following Spain's football World Cup victory
Spain's women's football team are now refusing to play again until the president of the Spanish football federation Luis Rubiales resigns following the kissing scandal.
After the victory in which Spain scored a 1-0 win over England, Rubiales grabbed player Hermoso and kissed her on the lips during the awards ceremony. Jenni insisted "in no moment" did she consent to a kiss from the country's football federation president Rubiales - as the players unite to boycott over the scandal.
56 players including Hermoso and her World Cup-winning teammates signed the joint statement demanding Rubiales be sacked, insisting they will not play unless he is removed from his position.
