Glass has been discovered in Starbucks' vanilla Frappuccino drinks, but there is no information on how the material was initially found.
More than 300,000 Starbucks drinks have been recalled by PepsiCo, after glass was found in some of its bottles.
The US Food and Drug Administration said 25,200 cases of the vanilla Frappuccino chilled coffee drink were recalled after the detection of the material inside the 405ml bottles.The recall was classified as class two, which the FDA says is"a situation in which use of, or exposure to, a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote".
According to the notice, which was initiated on 28 January, the expiration dates for the affected bottles are 8 March, 29 May, 4 June and 10 June, all for 2023.
