Dylan Lamb, 20, suffered from 'unbearable' back pain last year before he was told he had leukaemia.
A student who was diagnosed with cancer after thinking he'd pulled a muscle has died just weeks after being told the disease had returned. Dylan Lamb, 20, went to A&E last year after suffering "unbearable" back pain, where medics found his white blood cell count was "through the roof".
Sharing the news online, a close pal wrote: "He went in his sleep with his family by his side, having said his goodbyes to all of his friends the day before and I'm glad to tell you that he was still full of laughs and jokes. "If there is anything your nieces and nephews have learnt from 'Uncle Dylan', it’s strength, determination , courage, wit, and the stubbornness to know exactly what they want. Fly high - until we meet again little bro, lots of love and fist bumps."
