A £3.5m property at Gleneagles is being offered as part of a charity raffle but the winner will be neighbours with taxi tycoon Steven Malcolm, who also has a property in the Crookston area.
A lucky winner will get their hands on a stunning £3.5million home in a luxury charity raffle, but they will end up being neighbours with a businessman who is said to have gangland links.

Malcolm later bought a taxi firm linked to him. The firm’s Chief International Officer James Oakes said: “By offering this stunning property, along with £100,000 in cash, we’re giving people the choice to either live in an incredible house, rent it out for a supplementary income or simply sell up and become multi-millionaires.”
Four years ago he launched a £6million legal action against the American manufacturers of a three-storey aquarium that dominated the centre of the home. The floor-to-ceiling tank, which cost £1.4 million, burst and flooded large parts of the house. His property also has two swimming pools, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and a private lift.
The new firm is now run by Hampden Cars boss Stephen Conley, whose home on the south-side of Glasgow was sprayed with bullets in 2006 in what was described as a mini cab “turf war”.
